Steve Chivers, Managing Director at Rollalong sees this as a golden opportunity to change the nature and perception of what it is to work in the construction industry, and to attract the next generation of multi-skilled workers to design homes and work in our factory to build the homes desperately required for the local area.

Rollalong operate from a state-of-the-art modular manufacturing facility in Wimborne, Dorset which creates a unique local partnership between the two companies. Magna Housing based in Dorchester operates in Dorset and Somerset and five of the initial sites are within a one hour radius of Rollalong’s manufacturing facility.

Both Magna and Rollalong will be working together alongside procurement specialists LHC and consultants CAMS to combine our years of research and development and delivery. This will crystallise Rollalong’s strategic vision to expand their share of the residential market. We will jointly work to select a number of local clients who value the benefits of a‘modular first’ solution and are supportive of a truly collaborative approach to solving the current housing crisis.
